Moccasin Slough Park, 4393 Raggedy Point Road, Fleming Island - 255-acre parcel on the St. Johns River with playground, trails, covered pavilion and picnic tables.
Camp Blanding Wildlife Management Area - over 56,000 acres in western Clay County available for hunting, wildlife viewing and hiking. Sometimes closed due to military activities, call Florida FWC at 386-758-0525 for current status before visiting.
Bayard Point Conservation Area, SR 16 on the St. Johns River, Green Cove Springs - over 10,000 acres
Black Creek Ravines Conservation Area, 5645 Green Road, Middleburg - 965 acres
